L B Accounting was formed in January 2004 by Laura Blacktop. Laura had previous experience teaching accounts and book-keeping at Lancaster and Morecambe College, as well as many years working in various accounting roles.
 
She decided to form the company after market research showed that there was the need for an accountant / bookkeeper in the area who would provide a personal, friendly service to smaller companies and the self-employed at a reasonable price.
 
Having started from humble beginnings at home, we soon moved into our new office amd are now based just off Caton Road in Lancaster - giving easy access for clients
Laura's husband, Andrew, oversees the office and administration side of the business and is available to take your calls and answer queries.
 
Based in Lancaster, the client base ranges from Barrow to Preston and includes the South Lakes.
 
Laura will offer a free half hour consultation to new clients at their own premises.
